Research Collaboration with the University of Oxford

Overview

RCISSS, Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University, is developing and expanding data archives for the better use of government statistics micro data, under the Humanities and Social Sciences Data Infrastructure Development project.
As part of the project, we provide survey-related information (English version) in collaboration with the University of Oxford, to promote secondary use of Japan's official statistics.
In addition, we promote joint researches using data such as the Survey on Time Use and Leisure Activities at the onsite facility of the Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University and disseminate findings not only to Japanese but also to foreign researchers.

English Translation of Code Tables

We provide codebooks translated into English for onsite use of the Survey on Time Use and Leisure Activities.
(Codebooks in Japanese are available on the micro data usage portal website.)
